At Home Grown Joy, our Animal Camp offers children a hands-on, unforgettable farm experience where learning, kindness, and joy grow together. Campers spend their days outdoors on our working family farm, connecting with animals, exploring nature, and discovering where food and care really come from.

Children will interact closely with our friendly farm animals — including (but not limited to), dogs, cats, miniature horse, goats, kunekune pigs/piglets, emus, chickens/chicks, quail, bunnies, tortoises, and more — learning how to safely handle, feed, and care for them. Through guided activities, animal chores, and play-based learning, campers build confidence, responsibility, and respect for animals and the environment.

Each day is filled with meaningful farm experiences, creative activities, and plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and just be kids. Our camp encourages curiosity, compassion, and connection — not only with animals, but with each other.
